Soliciting Ideas for AILA’s 2010 Annual Plan
Over the next two months your elected leadership and staff will be drafting AILA's Annual Plan for 2010. The Annual Plan is an important document that provides the roadmap for our work and priorities over the course of the year.
This year we want to give all members an opportunity to share their ideas on what AILA's priorities should be. To that end, we have created a new Forum on the InfoNet Message Center where you can post your thoughts. The Forum is called "AILA Strategic Planning" and it is organized around four primary AILA functions: (1) legislative advocacy; (2) agency liaison; (3) member services, including but not limited to InfoNet and information delivery, publications, CLE, and other member benefits; and (4) professionalism, to include pro bono services, combating UPL, ethics education, and law practice management. You can access the Forum on the Message Center
We invite you to go to the AILA Strategic Planning forum and begin posting your ideas. Your input will be discussed by the elected leadership and incorporated into the 2010 Annual Plan proposal as appropriate. Please post your comments by Monday, September 28th, in order to have them considered for inclusion.
