Miami Residents Sentenced for Conspiracy to Defraud Undocumented Individuals in Florida and New York

On 9/21/09 ICE announced that three Miami residents were sentenced on charges of conspiracy to commit wire fraud, wire fraud and making false statements in immigration papers. The charges stemmed from a scheme to defraud undocumented individuals by falsely promising to assist them with immigration matters.
