Fort Worth Woman Sentenced to 44 Months for Visa Fraud Scheme
On 9/23/09 ICE announced that Maria Refugia Camarillo was sentenced to 44 months in federal prison following her guilty plea for conspiring to commit fraud in connection with immigration documents. Between 1980 and 2008 foreign nationals, who wanted to become U.S. permanent residents, paid Camarillo to arrange a marriage between them and a U.S. citizen. AILA
